FAQ for Consignors

Consignor Numbers

  • Getting a number from us is EASY!  You can get a new consignor number from us just by emailing info@consignwithfumc.com.  Please include your first and last name, and a phone number where you can e reached in addition to your email address.  We'll email a number back to you right away.  This will be your number for this sale and any going forward with us.  We keep track of the numbers between sales if you ever forget!
  • Have stuff left over from another sale that's still tagged?  WE'LL TAKE IT!  Strict rules do apply:
    • First and most important, you must first have approval from sale coordinator (info@consignwithfumc.com) to make sure that no numbers are overlapping.
    • We request that the tags from the previous sale be two-part tags, similar to what we have.  This ensures that our check-out process continues to run smoothly for all of the shoppers and that you get paid for your sold items!

Tagging

  • Our sale provides all of the tags for you at no charge!  You tag and price your own items in $0.50 increments (nothing less than $0.50 please!).
  • Tag bags can be picked up beginning January 31st at First United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Building Lobby.  Use the West Templeton entrance from the courtyard, just inside double doors on the left.  Some hangers are also available here.  Additional tag bags are also available in the nursery area.

  1. If my stuff doesn’t sale, what then?
Any unsold items should be picked up the day of the sale between 2:30-3:30pm.  Any items not picked up during this time frame will be donated to charity.
If you would like to donate any unsold items to charity we can do that for you as well and your check can either be picked up or mailed.  Please note that any items designated as donate will not be available during the pickup times.
  1. When do I get my proceeds from what sold?

Your proceeds will be available the day of the sale during the pick-up time above.  Anyone who does not wish to come by that day to pick up their proceeds will have a check mailed to them the following week.

  1. Will you tag my stuff for me?

Unfortunately we cannot tag items for you unless you are willing to donate 100% of the proceeds. If you would like to donate rather than consign, we gladly provide you a tax receipt as well as tag your items.
